Funding is paid between longs and shorts once per period (shown after the rate) and keeps the perpetual near the spot price; a positive rate means longs pay. The open interest change counts contracts, so a price move alone does not change it. Accounts long is the share of Bybit accounts with a position in this perpetual that are net long.
